Bond hearings

The following person appeared for bond hearings before Licking County Common Pleas Court Magistrate Mattie Klein Monday. The cases may be reviewed by a grand jury for possible indictment or additional charges.

Jason R. Schneider, 40, last known address 1706 Beech Road, New Albany, was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, a third-degree felony.

On Oct. 7, Schneider was suspected of driving while under the influence after a prior felony OVI conviction, according to a statement of facts.

Klein set bond at $10,000.

Daniel Matheny, 21, last known address 412 E. Main St., Newark, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

On June 17, Matheny was suspected of having methamphetamine in his possession, according to a statement of facts.

Klein set bond at $15,000.

Nicholas P. Kirk, 32, last known address 59 Allen St., Newark, was charged with intimidation of a witness, a third-degree felony.

On Oct. 7, Kirk was suspected of damaging property belonging to a witness in a pending felony case against him, according to a statement of facts.

Klein set bond at $75,000.

Jacobb A. Liggett, 23, last known address 10161 Cooper Road Apt. A, Johnstown, was charged with receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.

Between Sept. 3 and 8, Liggett was suspected of having stolen property in his possession, according to a statement of facts.

Klein released Liggett on his own recognizance.

Justin R. Hottinger, 27, last known address 569 Derby Downs Road Apt. B, Newark, was charged with retaliation, a third-degree felony.

Between July 8 and the present, Hottinger was suspected of leaving threatening messages for a probation officer, according to a statement of facts.

Klein set bond at $25,000.

Jarrod E. Craft, 26, last known address 1824 Spruce Drive Apt. C, Columbus, was charged with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a fifth-degree felony.

On Aug. 26, Craft was suspected of sending an inappropriate photograph to a 13-year-old, according to a statement of facts.

Klein released Craft on his own recognizance.
