Upcoming Events

•Frazeysburg Village Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the township hall.

•Irville Lodge 184 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the lodge hall in Nashport.

•Trustees of the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday with the administrative council at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Ash Wednesday services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the sermon “Fasting.” Vacation Bible school at the church will be June 19-23.

•Dresden American Legion Auxiliary will meet Wednesday at the legion hall, 1384 Main St., Dresden.

•A scrapbooking class will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday for adults at the Dresden Church of the Nazarene. A kids night out event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the church for children ages 2 to 12. This will allow parents a date night out. A household good and personal care product giveaway will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at the church. For more information call the church at 740-297-0524.

•The Dresden Police Department will hold a spaghetti dinner at 11 a.m. Feb. 14 at the Dresden Senior Center. The menu will feature all-you-can-eat spaghetti, meatballs, salad and dessert. Cost is a donation with proceeds going to a police cruiser.

Raccoon Dinner

Frazeysburg Lions Club members Dan Osborn, Kent Shay and Bob Hindel recently attended the 72nd annual Danville Lions Club Raccoon Dinner. Proceeds from the dinner and 50-50 drawing will be put in a scholarships fund for the children of Officer Tom Cottrell, who was recently killed in the line of duty.
