Lane reopened on North 21st Street

NEWARK - The Energy Cooperative announced that North 21st Street has been reopened, according to the group's Facebook page.

The company announced it need to shut down a lane of North 21st Street for three to four hours Friday due to necessary gas line repair.

The closure began around 5 p.m. and ended just before 6 p.m.

The group posted to Facebook, announcing that a necessary gas line repair will require one northbound lane to be closed in the area of 1010 N 21st St., north of Jefferson Road before Catalina Drive.

The Newark Police Department assisted with traffic in the area.
