Vehicle strikes CVS building

LANCASTER — Police reported no injuries after a vehicle crashed through the front door of the CVS drugstore at 111 S. Memorial Drive Friday just before 11 a.m.

Police said Joke A. Harnish, 57, of Athens, went through the parking space and hit a five-inch parking bumper in a blue 2006 Volvo. She went over the bumper before striking the curb. At that point Harnish crossed a sidewalk, hit the building and then entered building, causing moderate damage to it.

Police cited Harnish for operating a vehicle without reasonable control.
