HEATH — Heath police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired at a business early Saturday morning.

Police were called to a business on the 600 block of Keller Drive around 12:45 a.m. Saturday morning on a report of shots fired.

When police arrived, they were told a small silver vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus or something similar, stopped on Keller Drive and shot at a vehicle and employee of the business, according to a press release from the Heath Police Department.

The vehicle reportedly drove to the Faye Drive side of the business and fired additional shots at other employees and vehicles.

A round entered and exited the windows of a semi and nearly struck the person inside, according to the release.

No injuries were reported.

The silver vehicle left the area northbound on Coffman Boulevard towards Main Street in Newark.

This is the second incident in a week of a small silver vehicle reportedly firing shots in Heath.

The first incident was reported around 7:30 p.m. Monday near Irving Wick Drive. A driver reported being fired upon by occupants in a small silver vehicle while turning into a subdivision. Police investigated and found no damage.

Two people were reportedly inside the vehicle during that incident.

Heath police are asking anyone who may have been a victim of similar incidents or has information to contact them immediately at 740-522-2141.
