Police log: Woman tried to activate stolen cell phone

• 9:46 p.m., a caller said he saw a person inside a vacant home. Deputies were unable to locate the man, 500 block C.R. 294, Townsend Township.
CHARGED
• A 24-year-old Tiffin woman was charged with one misdemeanor count of probation violation.
• A 38-year-old Honolulu, Hawaii, man was charged with one misdemeanor count of probation violation.
• Darnell May, 45, of Detroit, Michigan was charged with two felony counts of drug possession.
• A 70-year-old Toledo man was charged with one misdemeanor count each of aggravating menacing, receiving stolen property and inducing panic.

• 6:22 p.m., a caller said a car’s passenger side mirror crashed into their car causing damage to the caller’s driver’s side mirror, 300 block Hayes Avenue.
THEFT
• 3:39 p.m., an AT&T employee reported a person tried to activate a stolen phone. The customer said her stepfather gave her the phone and did not know the phone was stolen, 2100 block Sean Drive.

• 1:56 p.m., a caller said she saw a gray Chevy Impala crash into a Dodge Journey and then leave the scene, Hayes and Front Street.

COMPLAINT
• 1:58 p.m., a caller said immigrants were camped out at a nearby address. The caller told police the couple did not live at the house, 400 block Duane Street.
