Fairfield Heritage Association presents Coronet Awards

LANCASTER - Six buildings in Lancaster were chosen for Coronet Awards by the Fairfield Heritage Association.

The association presents the awards each year to honor successful restoration, renovation, preservation, beautification and building projects in Fairfield County. The awards were given at its annual banquet Nov. 5 by Phyllis Heister.

Nominations come from association members and the general public. A committee reviews the nominees and selects the recipients of the awards.

This year’s honorees were:

•Therese and Christopher Ryckman, 163 E. Main St.;

•Brad Woltz and Robert Grove, 284 Cedar Hill Road;

•Richard and Marcie Hubble, 1186 N. Columbus St.;

•Billy and Lorena Smith, Cherry Street Pub, 202 N. Cherry St.;

•Ray Szymanski, 635 N. High St.;

•Andrew Mott, 420 E. Main St.
