Police respond to robbery call at Community Bank branch

LANCASTER – City police are investigating a robbery Friday at the Community Bank branch at 1321 E. Main St.

The call came in about 3:30 p.m. Police said a man entered the bank and demanded money before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount.

There were no injuries, and police would not say whether the man had a weapon.

The suspect is described as a white male, stocky and about 5-foot-9 weighing 200 pounds, with dark facial hair, wearing blue jeans; a blue, short-sleeve shirt; dark sunglasses; and a ball cap.
