CHILLICOTHE — The State Highway Patrol responded to a two vehicle crash at approximately 4 p.m. on Monday on N. Bridge Street that caused troopers to close southbound lanes and reroute traffic.

Southbound lanes were shut down for about 45 minutes, according to Trooper Quinn Dunn, while the northbound lanes were rerouted through and around the Aldi parking lot.

Larissa Immell, 24, was traveling north on Bridge Street when Iris Murphy, 18, failed to yield turning out onto Bridge Street from what Dunn said looked like a private drive, and was struck by Immell.

Immell is pregnant, and was transported to Adena following the crash. Both Immell and her baby are “fine,” according Dunn.

As a precaution, Murphy was extracted from her vehicle by mechanical means, and transported to Adena. She was later transported to Grant Medical Center, the extent of her injuries is unknown.
