Family needs help with toys for three

Staff report

For the next few weeks, The Advocate will run biographies of families who need help providing Christmas gifts for their children. Read below to find out how you can help make these children's holiday dreams come true.

A family with three children needs help buying gifts this Christmas.

Their 4-year-old son would like Spider-Man items, cars, trucks, a Nerf gun and sports balls.

Their 5-year-old daughter would like Hello Kitty and Shopkins items, board games, toy horses, unicorns and other animal figurines.

Her 7-year-old sister would like arts and crafts items, beads and items to make jewelry, and an MP3 player.

To help this family, drop off new, unwrapped items marked with "Family 59" at the front desk of Licking County Job and Family Services, 74 S. Second St, Newark. To make a monetary donation to Families Helping Families, send it to Job and Family Services, P.O. Box 5030, Newark, OH 43058.

Any donations should be dropped off at JFS by Dec. 11. Anyone in need of more information can contact Kari Matheny at lcfhf@jfs.ohio.gov or 740-670-8714.
