EDEN TOWNSHIP - A home was destroyed beyond repair Tuesday morning by a fire on Rain Rock Road.

Fire crews responded to the home on the 9500 block of Rain Rock Road just after 4:40 a.m. and found the home to be fully involved with flames, Mary Ann Township Fire Captain Randy Miner said.

Crews were able to put out the fire but were not able to save the home, he said. The home is considered a total loss.

No injuries were reported and Miner said it was not immediately clear if anyone was inside at the time the fire started. All the residents of the home were accounted for, he said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
