Lights and Sirens: Drug arrest for man in car

FRIDAY

ARRESTS

Officer investigated a suspicious vehicle with an occupant sleeping inside that was parked in the 800 block of South East Street. A 24-year-old man was arrested on charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued summons to appear in court on both charges and released. 8:17 a.m.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on a charge of theft by deception. She was issued a summons to appear in court and released. 5:56 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A report of a possible breaking and entering was investigated in the 200 block of North Poplar Street. 9:45 a.m.

Citation issued in the 900 block of Reid Street for parking more than 48 hours. 10:15 a.m.

A warning was issued to a person in the 800 block of South Sandusky Avenue about having an ATV in other people’s yards. 2:09 p.m.

A disturbance in the 100 block of Fisher Street was investigated. 3:42 p.m.

A two-vehicle non-injury crash in the area of Whetstone and East Mansfield streets was investigated. 4:26 p.m.

A domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Songer Avenue was investigated. 4:43 p.m.

Officers assisted Ohio Highway Patrol in the area of Mount Zion Road and Ohio 98 locating a vehicle that was involved in a crash in Marion County. The vehicle was stopped for Highway Patrol and they are investigating. 4:58 p.m.

A window was reported broken at the Toledo & Ohio Railroad Museum on East Rensselaer Street. 5:53 p.m.

Officers spoke to a couple juveniles in the 200 block of South Lane Street and mediated a civil property exchange. 6:06 p.m.

7:07pm A resident of Waterford Glen spoke with an officer about someone dumping something on private property. 7:07 p.m.

SATURDAY

ARRESTS

Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint in the 300 block of East Rensselaer Street. A 27-year-old man was arrested on charges of domestic violence and transported to Crawford County jail to be held for court. 12:34 p.m.

A 17-year-old Bucyrus boy was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and underage possession of tobacco. He was released to a parent pending charges through juvenile court. 4:03 p.m.

A 41-year-old man was arrested in the 100 block of North Highland Avenue on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released. 10:06 p.m.

INCIDENTS

Officers on patrol checked on two vehicles surrounded by broken eggs in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue. The vehicles were found to have not been struck by the eggs. 2:45 a.m.

A report of loud music from a vehicle in the 800 block of Rogers Street is under investigation. 3:54 a.m.

A disturbance was investigated in the 100 block of Franklin Street. A person was warned for trespass at the residence. 9:02 a.m.

A report of a break-in was made in the 1200 block of East Mansfield Street. The resident was found to have caused the damage. 9:44 a.m.

A report of an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was taken from an Ethel Street resident. The vehicle was returned later. 2:39 p.m.

An East Rensselaer Street resident reported a dog stolen. The issue turned out to be a civil matter. 3:07 p.m.

A Hopley Avenue resident reported receiving threatening telephone calls. 3:21 p.m.

Officers checked Kaler Avenue for a person staggering in the roadway. The person was not located. 3:51 p.m.

A citation was issued for a dog running at large on Edgewood Drive. 4:48 p.m.

Officers investigated a fireworks complaint in the 800 block of Beverly Drive. 7:49 p.m.

An employee at Circle K reported a couple suspicious customers inside the store. They left without causing a problem before officers arrived. 9:47 p.m.

A domestic disturbance in the 600 block of South Spring Street was investigated. 4:08 a.m.

A domestic dispute was investigated in the 900 block of East Mansfield Street. 12:26 p.m.

Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1400 block of Eloise Street. 3:10 p.m.

Officers mediated a civil dispute in the 500 block of South Highland Avenue. 3:21 p.m.

Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Lawn Avenue. 3:39 p.m.

A two-vehicle crash was investigated in the area of Iron and Rensselaer streets. 3:54 p.m.

Officers assisted Life Support ambulance personnel in the 600 block of East Charles Street. 5:18 p.m.

A two-vehicle crash was investigated at West Mary and North Poplar streets. 5:28 p.m.

A report of juveniles fighting was investigated in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue. 5:56 p.m.

A motorist reported hitting a deer on Bucyrus-Nevada Road. 8:58 p.m.

A bicyclist was issued a warning in the 300 block of South Poplar Street. 9:08 p.m.

A report of a motorist doing burn-outs in City Lot 3 was investigated. 11:58 p.m.
