CIVIL COMPLAINT

•4:30 p.m., a Salem Township man said an electric heater valued at $60 was taken from a home he rented to a woman and the electric wall thermostat had been preyed off the wall after he evicted her, 2000 block of S. Mudcreek Road, Salem Township.

ASSURED CLEAR DISTANCE

•10:07 a.m., Heidi R. Mackey, 20, of Port Clinton, was cited for assured clear distance after striking another vehicle while following them westbound on Ohio 163, Portage Township.

THEFT

•8:59 a.m., a Salem Township woman said overnight her live-in boyfriend locked their trailer up and headed to California, taking their dog “Puggy” and two of her medications (Seroquel, Lisinopril) with him, 800 block of Green Bayou Road, Salem Township.

DOG COMPLAINT

•11:44 p.m, a caller said he was almost bitten by a loose dog earlier in the day and wanted to talk to an officer about the incident, 500 block of E. Second St.

DISTURBANCE

•11:02 p.m., a caller said it sounded like someone tried to open her door and asked for an officer to check the area, 330 block of Monroe.

PARKING VIOLATION

•7:24 p.m., a caller said a vehicle was blocking their driveway and that this was an ongoing problem, 800 block of Maryland.

SEX OFFENSE

•1:35 p.m., a caller asked to speak to an officer about a sex offense, 800 block of Jefferson St.

FORGERY

•12:13 p.m., a PCHS staff member said the school received a counterfeit bill, 800 block of Jefferson St.

THEFT

•11:06 a.m., a caller asked to speak to an officer about filing a theft report, 600 block of W. Fremont Road.
