Ag mechanic contest at Tri-Rivers

The Tri-Rivers Career Center and Delaware Joint Vocational School teams will move on to the state Ag Mechanics Skills competition next month.

Their performances in the District 6 Ag Mechanics Skills contest on Thursday at Tri-Rivers decided that fate.

Among the 12 high school students competing in the district event who did not advance were teams from Urbana and Riverside.

The state competition will be April 10 at the Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster.

Participants in the district contest had qualified for it by winning their local events.
