The Works having annual Holiday Homecoming

NEWARK - A holiday homecoming celebrating Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Works, 55 S. First St.

The annual event features ornament making, a 2 p.m. science show, hot chocolate and popcorn, games, 1 p.m. glass blowing demonstration, a gift wrap station, showings of “Rudolph” and other stop-motion holiday classics and other activities. Call ahead to register for personal glass blowing experiences.

Admission is free for Works members. For non-members cost is $9 for adults, $7 for those 55 and older, $5 for children ages 2 to 17 and free for kids under 2.
