Crime Stoppers offering reward for info on purse theft

NEWARK — Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects in a purse theft.

According to the Licking County Sheriff's Office, the suspects broke the window of an SUV parked at Dawes Arboretum on Sept. 25.

A purse containing credit cards and an iPad was reported stolen. About $7,000 was withdrawn from the victim's bank account.
