Gun, drugs seized in search

CHILLICOTHE — Six arrests were made and a weapon and drugs were seized Tuesday afternoon during execution of a search warrant at 142 N. Sugar St.

According to Chillicothe Police, officers with the department, along with the Ross County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. 23 Pipeline Task Force, jointly executed the warrant that was obtained through the help of citizen tips about the location. During the search, authorities reported seizing a firearm, suspected crack cocaine and cocaine.

Arrested on a felony possession of drugs charge was Antwain Reedus. The residents of the home, David Daniels and Angela McCray, also were arrested and charged with permitting drug abuse.

Authorities also discovered several other people at the residence had outstanding arrest warrants, including Kimberly Carroll, Jillian Adkins and David E. Brown II. Brown had four outstanding warrants.
