Lights and Sirens: Burning love letters not ‘proper’ disposal

ARRESTS

A 21-year-old woman was arrested in the 200 block of Hopley Avenue on charges of possession of drugs. A 43-year-old man was also arrested on an active warrant out of Crawford County. They were both taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending court appearances. 1:01 p.m.

A 39-year-old man was arrested on charges of violating a civil protection order. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released. 7:27 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A Teddy Avenue resident reported their home broken into. Officers are investigating. 8:42 a.m.

A report of people burning paper in the 200 block of North Walnut Street was investigated. Officers told a person who was destroying love letters to do it in a more proper manner. 9:40 a.m.

A Walmart employee reported a theft from the store. Officers are investigating. 12:26 p.m.

A North Sandusky Avenue resident reported someone driving through his lawn. 1:03 p.m.

A domestic dispute was mediated in the 500 block of Park Avenue. 1:05 p.m.

A disturbance in the 1300 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated. 3:03 p.m.

A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Heritage Circle was investigated. 3:52 p.m.

Officers checked the area of Hopley and Beal avenues for a possible obstruction in the road. Nothing was located. 6:33 p.m.

The owner of a property in the 300 block of East Warren Street reported a brick thrown through a window. 6:54 ap.m.

Officers checked the 700 block of West Charles Street after receiving a report of a possible intoxicated driver in the area. No one was located. 6:57 p.m.

A report of a theft from a shed in the 400 block of Emerson Street was investigated. 6:58 p.m.

Officers spoke to an Earl Street resident about her son’s missing bicycle. 7:11 p.m.

A report of a dog left in a car in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated. 7:50 p.m.

A West Charles Street resident spoke to an officer about a domestic situation. 8:53 p.m.

A suspicious person in the Arby’s parking lot was investigated. He was just waiting for a family member. 9:59 p.m.

A report of a fight in the 98 Drive Thru parking lot was investigated. There were no assaults reported and most of the people had left the area when officers arrived. 10:09 p.m.

A civil issue over property was mediated in the 300 block of Iron Street. 10:50 p.m.

A report of telephone harassment was investigated. 11:40 p.m.

A report of possible forgery is under investigation. 11:48 p.m.

INCIDENTS

An employee of Diamond Wipes reported his vehicle vandalized while he was working. 12:46 a.m.

Officers assisted a Crawford County Deputy on a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Mansfield Street. 1:18 a.m.
