Family Farm & Home store coming to Bucyrus

BUCYRUS – Family Farm & Home, a specialty retailer of agricultural and home products, will open a new store in Bucyrus this summer.

The 40,000-square-foot store will be at 2460 E. Mansfield St., bringing new business to a building that was last occupied by K-Mart.

With the opening of the Bucyrus store, the company will have grown to 38 stores.

Family Farm & Home offers merchandise oriented to rural and suburban living, including pet, horse and livestock feeds and accessories, farm supplies, home heating, lawn and garden equipment, hardware, automotive, work clothing and footwear.

Family Farm & Home takes pride in being part of local communities by opening stores in places where people know each other’s names, look out for one another, and still believe in a hard day’s work.

According to the company, its mission is to help customers work smarter and faster, by providing the best equipment, supplies and knowledge to get the job done.

A news release states that Family Farm & Home offers the products customers need at prices that make sense. Their customers are family, friends and neighbors, and they take care of their own with expert advice and the best equipment.

Acting store manager Tim McLaughlin said he is excited to be serving the Bucyrus community He and his team of 15 to 20 knowledgeable staff members will provide great product selection, low prices and outstanding customer service.

The store is expected to open mid-August, with a grand-opening celebration scheduled for early October.
