ODOT announces Ohio 188 closures for road work

LANCASTER — The Ohio Department of Transportation will close Ohio 188 Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day to replace various culverts along the route between the Fairfield and Pickaway county lines and U.S. 33.

The road will reopen Saturday and Sunday, but then close from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day from Oct. 19 to Oct. 23.

Westbound traffic will detour via U.S. 33, U.S. 22 and Ohio 674.
