Police log: People operating mowers recklessly

• 11:49 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Ottawa County Job and Family Services after a man made a verbal threat over the phone, 8000 block of State Route 163, Salem Township.

DOG COMPLAINT

• 9:58 p.m., a woman reported the neighbor’s dog leash reaches her front door and she is unable to leave her residence. An officer spoke with both parties and advised that the leash does not reach past the property line, 400 block of West Third Street.

HARASSMENT

• 9:27 p.m., a woman reported being harassed and an officer advised the man to have no further contact with the woman or he would be charged, 600 block of East Third Street.

DISTURBANCE

• 5:05 p.m., a caller reported two people arguing and an officer spoke with both parties, advising that was a verbal argument, 1100 block of Lee Avenue.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

• 4:50 p.m., a caller reported two salesmen going door-to-door and an officer checked the area but was unable to locate them, corner of Clinton and Alice Street.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

• 4:10 p.m., a caller reported a woman requesting a ride to Toledo and dispatch advised she was going to be transported outside of city limits and a deputy would give her a ride as far as he could, 100 block of Madison Street.

TRAFFIC PROBLEM

• 12:41 p.m., a caller reported people out on mowers operating recklessly and they were given a verbal warning, corner of Fourth and Adams Street.

ASSISTANCE

• 9:54 a.m., traffic control was requested while a bulb at a traffic light was replaced, corner of Perry Street and Buckeye Boulevard.
