Smith bricks to be given away

CHILLICOTHE – Those wishing to keep a part of the former Smith Middle School building for themselves will have the opportunity June 3.

From 1 to 6 p.m. that day at the rear of the industrial arts building located to the northwest of the main Smith building at 345 Arch St., the Chillicothe City School District will be distributing bricks from the building. The bricks, which will be distributed free of charge, will be available for the first 1,000 people to arrive on a first-come, first-served bases while supplies last. There will be a limit of one brick per person.

Parking will be available at the field house just east of the Obadiah Harris Family Athletic Complex.
