Lights and Sirens: Galion man arrested in heroin probe

WEDNESDAY

ARRESTS

A 33-year-old homeless man was arrested at 7:13 p.m. during a traffic stop in Heise Park, Galion, as part of an ongoing heroin-trafficking investigation. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said Myles T. Duncan was found in possession of heroin, cash, drug paraphernalia and marijuana by detectives from the sheriff’s office and Galion Police along with the METRICH Enforcement Unit. Duncan was transported to the Crawford County jail, where he is being held on charges of trafficking in heroin. The sheriff’s office said additional charges could be forthcoming from the Crawford County prosecutor’s office.

A 34-year-old woman was arrested in the area of Highland and Hull avenues on three Crawford County warrants. She was taken to Crawford County Municipal Court.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. He was transported to the Crawford County jail to be held for court. 8:31 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A vehicle was marked for a 48-hour parking violation on Fisher Street. 11:21 a.m.

Officers picked up some suspicious-looking items from a resident in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street. 12:25 p.m.

Officers delivered a message for the Carey Police Department to a residence in Waterford Glen. 5:13 p.m.

A report of kids throwing rocks from the overpass off the 100 block of South Highland Avenue was investigated. 6:28 p.m.

A resident in the 500 block of Wilbur Street reported neighborhood kids trespassing in his yard. 6:51 p.m.

A resident in the 300 block of East Charles Street reported someone trespassing on her property. 7:56 p.m.

A report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the 200 block of South Sandusky Avenue was investigated. 9:02 p.m.

A report of a burglary at Bucyrus Estates is under investigation. 9:08 p.m.

A parking complaint in the area of Fisher and East Mansfield streets was investigated. 9:41 p.m.

A verbal traffic warning was given in the 300 block of North Sandusky Avenue. 1:34 a.m.

A woman reported her vehicle vandalized while parked in the 200 block of West Mary Street. 2:03 a.m.

A report of juveniles behaving suspiciously in the 100 block of Plymouth Street was investigated. 6:31 a.m.
