Veggies galore for July 4 farmers market

The vendor list for the July 4 edition of the Chillicothe Farmers Market:

9 N Farms (Gene & Dan Woods) – Green beans, zucchini, cucumbers, squash, popcorn and cherry tomatoes.

A Pup and A Cup Tea Company (Mashell Brown) – Delicious loose leaf tea. Stop by and try our weekly samples.

Ashley’s Confections (Ashley Williams) – Strawberry/rhubarb pie, rhubarb pie, chocolate mint fudge, white chocolate macadamia nut fudge, caramel banana jam, rhubarb jam, marshmallow cream pecan pie, toffee apple pie, raspberry streusel pie, and caramel pecan pie.

Beaver Produce Acres (David Swarey) – Sweet corn, lettuce, green beans, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, and other vegetables.

Ben’s Mustard (Karen Neff) - Ben’s Mustard and BBQ sauce.

Buckskin Harvest & More (Andy & Trish Uhrig) – Baked goods, hanging baskets and produce.

Cory Farms (Steve Cory) – Chemical free green beans, new potatoes, cabbage, eggplant, peppers, okra, red raspberry and strawberry/rhubarb jam and jelly, gluten free cookies.

Dean Farms and Flowers (Anna Dean) – Bouquets of freshly cut flowers, perennial garden plants and containers of plants.

Debi’s Dreams Home Bakery (Debra Masters) – Cakes, breads, noodles, gourmet brownies, cobblers and more.

Dessert First (Cindy Thomas) - Cinnamon rolls, pies, cookies, snack mix and meringues.

Earthdancer Farms (Becky Zuccala) – Handspun yarn, handcrafted soap, a variety of herb plants, fairy gardens, kale, collards and wild black raspberry jam.

Hirsch Fruit Farm (Steve Hirsch) – Sweet corn, blueberries, black raspberries, red raspberries, tomatoes, green beans, Lodi apples, apple cider and more.

Johnny B’s and Little E’s (John Barnhart & Erica Ellis) – Johnny B’s Sweet & Spicy Relish and Little E’s Jams & Jellies.

Kathy’s Whoopie Pies (Dave & Kathy Ray) – Whoopie pies: Buckeye, Red Velvet, Chocolate, Lemon, Lemon Poppy Seed, and Red White and Blueberry, plus a variety of Quickies

Milk & Honey Hills, LLC (Stephen & Tara Sowards) – Homemade Strawberry Jam and Sweet Pepper Jelly, Homemade Beeswax Lip Butter, Nourishing Goat Milk Soaps made with Coconut Oil, and introducing our NEW bottles of Liquid Goat Milk Hand Soap and Body Wash. Gift sets and packages available.

Owl Creek Artisan Bread (Sharon Williamson) – Roasted garlic bread, ranch hand sourdough, rosemary, pizza crusts and lemon poppy seed muffins.

Owl Creek Bison (Greg Ruter) – Bison: Ground, Patties, Brats, Italian brats, Steaks, Roast, Stew, and Liver. Fresh garlic.

Pastured Providence Farmstead ( Paul Dorrance) – Pastured pork products, free-range eggs, non-GMO whole chickens and all natural skin care products. Our heritage breed of the week will be the Large Black Piglets.

Red Rabbit/The Garden Patch (Mary Kate Doerres/Laura Uhrig) – Red, white and blue angel food, scones, sheet cakes, shortcakes, buckeyes, s’mores. Red, white and blue planters, basil topiaries, herbs, hanging planters and Ezekiel bread.

Roll Up Yonder (Debbie Karst) – Granola, granola bars, zucchini bread, cookies, muffins (blueberry, chocolate chip and cinnamon chip), bread (rye, whole wheat, bacon cheddar, cinnamon swirl, jalapeno cheddar, garlic herb), pizza crust (garlic herb, beacon cheddar) and whole wheat cinnamon rolls.

(The) Silver Maple Farm (Sharon Steinhoff) – Artisan cinnamon rolls, gourmet dog biscuits, chocolate chip cookies, herbal soaps and teas and handspun yarn.

Sunny Bank Farm (Don Shoemaker) – All Natural Black Angus Beef, no drugs and no hormones.

Two Roasting Joes (Tom Johnson) - Coffee by the cup and fresh roasted coffee by the bag and in single serve "Joe Cups" for Keurig type coffee makers.

Van Meter Farm (Tony Van Meter) – All natural pork, brown eggs and in-season produce. We raise 100% of our products.

Way Farms (Cameron Way) – Sweet corn, Swiss chard, kale, beets, lettuce, stringless green beans, cucumbers, broccoli, zucchini and honey.

Williams Honey Bees (Dan & Cortney Williams) – Honey, Pollen, Beeswax Candles, Lotion Products and gift sets.

Yankee Street Farm (Roger Graves) – Zucchini, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, kale, and more.

Yoder’s Greenhouse (David Yoder) – Flowers.

Chillicothe is a growers market, buy locally and know where your food originates.

The Chillicothe Farmers Market operates from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday from May to October. Credit/Debit or Ohio Direction Cards are accepted in exchange for Market tokens. Stop at the Information Tent for more to learn more. Anyone interested in selling at Market can contact Duane Adams at 740-701-6997 by noon on Wednesday.
