15 indicted by grand jury
Eight people were indicted by a Marion County grand jury on theft-related charges, including one man who prosecutors allege committed a burglary in May and then took possession of stolen property on three instances in August.
Richard L. Stansberry Jr., 51, 135 N. Grand Ave., was indicted on one count of burglary, a second-degree felony, and three counts of receiving stolen property, each a fifth-degree felony.
The charges came as a superseding indictment against Stansberry.
Shannon M. Edler, 23, 386 Linda Mel Drive; Katelynn M. Edler, 24, 3068 Marion Waldo Rd.; and Joshua T. Young, 25, 795 N. State St., were jointly indicted on one count of burglary, a second-degree felony.
Kevin S. Cantrell, 30, Chillicothe, was indicted on one count of felony fleeing, charged as a third-degree felony; one count of felony fleeing, charged as a fourth-degree felony; and one count of receiving stolen property, charged as a fourth-degree felony.
James Gamble, 22, 224 E. George St., was indicted on one count of robbery, a third-degree felony; one count of theft, a third-degree felony; and one count of vandalism, a fourth-degree felony.
James S. Easterday, 44, 725 N. Main St., was indicted on two counts of trafficking in heroin, both fifth-degree felonies; two counts of possession of heroin, both fifth-degree felonies; and one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.
Joe F. Campbell, 41, 704 Henry St., was indicted on one count of domestic violence, a third-degree felony.
Ronnie Farley Jr., 30, 287 Rose Ave., was indicted on two counts of possession of heroin, both fourth-degree felonies. As a forfeiture specification to those counts, the state seeks forfeiture of $654 found in Farley’s possession.
Joshua A. Wilson, 21, last known address 4631/2 N. Prospect St., was indicted on one count of failure to register as a sex offender, a fourth-degree felony.
Deana C. Steele, 35, New Bloomington, was indicted on one count of assault on a police officer, a fourth-degree felony.
Tyeisha M. Harris, 27, 262 Cass Ave., was indicted on one count of trespass in a habitation, a fourth-degree felony.
Emanuel S. Clarke, 22, 238 E. Washington Ave., was indicted on one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony.
Benjamin P. Kinney, 36, 801 Windsor St., was indicted on one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony.
Orlando R. Rogers, 40, 202 Community Drive, was indicted on one count of violation of a protection order, a fifth-degree felony.
