Police log: Authorities seek man who stole beer

FIRE

• 6:01 p.m., a caller said a vehicle was on fire. There were no injuries reported, 6160 block C.R. 165, Woodville Township.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

• 5:16 p.m., a caller said a car crashed into a tombstone and drove away from the scene, C.R. 175 and 288, York Township.

VANDALISM

• 11:15 a.m., a caller said three oil lines were stolen from his engine, County Roads 205 and 296, York Township.

THEFT

• 2:09 a.m., a cashier at a convenience store said a man stole a 30-pack of beer. Deputies said the man was driving down Port Clinton Road and left the vehicle on foot. Both deputies and officers from the Fremont Police Department are searching for the man, Port Clinton Road.

CHARGED

• A 36-year-old Fremont woman was charged with one misdemeanor count of probation violation.

• A 31-year-old Tiffin woman was charged with one misdemeanor count of nonsupport payments.

• A 26-year-old Fremont man was charged with one misdemeanor count each of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

• A 24-year-old Fremont man was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under suspension.

• 7:58 p.m., a caller said a Blu-ray player was stolen from his home, 110 block South Jefferson Street.

THEFT

• 7:21 p.m., a caller said a man selling popsicles refused to give a refund of her money after she did not have enough money to make a purchase.

VANDALISM

• 2:11 p.m., a caller said he saw graffiti on on a brick wall near the pump station, Avis and Birchard Avenues.
