Lights and Sirens: Officers arrest man at traffic stop

THURSDAY

ARRESTS

A 19-year-old man was located on West Mansfield Street and was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. 11:26 a.m.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested on charges of trespassing at Kroger. She was issued a summons to appear in court and released. 5:02 p.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on West Mary Street at North Poplar Street, and a 27-year-old man was arrested on warrants out of Crawford and Hardin County. He was taken to Crawford County Justice Center to await transport to Hardin County. 5:14 p.m.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street, and one juvenile girl was arrested. 7:05 p.m.

INCIDENTS

Officers met with a person with information about a previous theft report. 8:12 a.m.

Prescription medication was turned over to an officer for disposal. 1:09 p.m.

A wallet found at Lions Field was turned over to an officer who was able to return it to the owner. 1:13 p.m.

A report of a stolen check from a business on North Sandusky Avenue is under investigation. 1:24 p.m.

Officers stood by for a civil property exchange in the 600 block of West Mansfield Street. 2:02 p.m.

A report of suspicious activity in a van at the Suburban Lanes parking lot was investigated. The vehicle was gone before officers arrived. 3:06 p.m.

Drug paraphernalia found near South Lane Street was turned over to an officer. 3:06 p.m.

An East Oakwood Avenue resident reported her son being harassed by another child in the area. 3:58 p.m.

A traffic citation was issued in the area of North Sandusky Avenue and Plymouth Street to a woman for driving under suspension. 5:41 p.m.

A two-vehicle non-injury crash in the area of Spring Street and Oakwood Avenue was investigated. A traffic citation was issued to one of the drivers. 5:59 p.m.

A report of kids running into the roadway in the 600 block of East Warren Street was received. 6:05 p.m.

A report of a possible intoxicated driver in the area of Poplar and Mansfield streets was received. Officers spoke to the driver, and he was visiting a friend at Heartland of Bucyrus on West Mansfield Street, and he was not intoxicated. 6:16 p.m.

A minor non-injury two-vehicle crash in the area of South Walnut and Mansfield streets was investigated. A traffic citation was issued to one of the drivers. 6:51 p.m.

An employee at Little Caesars reported an irate customer. The customer had left the store before officers arrived. 6:55 p.m.

Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street and a warning was given. 7:08 p.m.

A Failor Street resident reported her son hit on the wrist by a rock thrown by another child at Lions Park. 7:09 p.m.

A domestic disturbance involving a juvenile in the 1300 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated. 7:31 p.m.

An employee of Dollar General reported a possible shoplifting from the store. Officers located the three people on Hopley Avenue and are investigating the complaint. 7:52 p.m.

A report of a vehicle parked at the top of Outhwaite Reservoir was investigated. The only vehicle found was in the parking area. 8:31 p.m.

Officers assisted a resident in town from Marion who had no way home. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office assisted in relaying the individual to Marion County. 9:36 p.m.

Officers checked the area around Lions Field for a man reportedly sitting on the ground. The man was located with his friend and his dog, and he was fine. 11:37 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A Prospect Street resident reported receiving harassing messages from someone she knows. She will be seeking a restraining order. 1:11 a.m.

A report of someone letting off fireworks in the 800 block of South Spring Street was checked. All was quiet. 2:23 a.m.

A patron staying at the Knights Inn reported his wallet stolen by a guest he had let into his room. 3:03 a.m.

A noise disturbance in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue was checked. A business in the area had left music on that was broadcasting outside. The owner was contacted to turn it off. 4:04 a.m.
