One injured after trailer rolls over on U.S. 36

COSHOCTON – One driver sustained minor injuries after flipping a tanker truck around 1 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 36.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office received multiple 911 calls at 12:51 a.m. reporting the rollover crash on U.S. 36 near Township Road 508.

The driver, who was hauling brine wastewater from drilling, had steered off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected left and overcorrected again, flipping the truck onto its side.

Diesel fuel and brine water were leaking from the semitrailer.

Coshocton County EMS took the driver to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

Assisting with investigation and cleanup on the scene were the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office, Coshocton County EMS, West Lafayette Police Department, West Lafayette Fire Department, Coshocton Hazmat Unit, Coshocton County React, Ohio Department of Transportation, Coshocton County Emergency Management Agency, the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and Prince's Wrecker.

The sheriff's office is investigating the incident.
