Lights and Sirens: 12 arrested over weekend

FRIDAY

ARRESTS

A 44-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were arrested in the 1400 block of Whetstone Street on Crawford County warrants. Each was issued a court date to appear and released. Two income tax summons were also served. 3:52 p.m.

A 26-year-old man was located in the 300 block of Wiley Street and arrested on two Crawford County warrants. He was issued a date to appear in court and released. 10:52 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A crash report was taken in the 900 block of West Perry Street. One vehicle was disabled and towed from the scene. 7:10 a.m.

A private-property collision that occurred in the Kroger parking lot was reported. 2:37 p.m.

Officers checked the area of Spring and Liberty streets for a report of a person soliciting. 2:50 p.m.

Two people were warned for trespassing on the railroad tracks in the Wiley Street area. 3:41 p.m.

A report of two missing children was made when they did not come home after school. The children were found a short time later. 4:35 p.m.

Officers assisted with found property in the 600 block of West Warren Street. It was returned to the owner. 6:05 p.m.

A bicycle found in the 900 block of South Sandusky Avenue was brought to the police station. 6:18 p.m.

Officers assisted with an unruly juvenile in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue. 7:13 p.m.

A disturbance in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street was investigated. 10:29 p.m.

A complaint of loud music in the 500 block of East Rensselaer Street was resolved with the music being turned off. 10:30 p.m.

A resident in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street reported his vehicle entered while it was parked in front of his residence during the night. Nothing was reported missing, but the door was left open. 11:39 p.m.

SATURDAY

ARRESTS

Two men, both 21, were arrested on charges of public urination in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue. They were each issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released. 12:49 a.m.

During a traffic stop in the area of East Mary and North Walnut streets a 38-year-old woman was arrested on charges of OVI. She was issued a citation and released to a sober family member. 2:30 a.m.

Officer checked on a reportedly suspicious man loitering at Whetstone Plaza. A 56-year-old man was arrested on two warrants out of Tuscarawas County. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await transportation to that county. 2:39 a.m.

A 31-year-old woman was located in the 300 block of Wiley Street and arrested on a Crawford County warrant. She was issued a date to appear in court and released. 10:52 p.m.

Officers responded to the 400 block of North Walnut Street for a domestic violence complaint. A 47-year-old man was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. 10:58 p.m.

INCIDENTS

Officers picked up syringes in the area of Washington Square. 10:51 a.m.

Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue. 3:52 p.m.

Officer responded to a larceny complaint in the 800 block of Wilber Street. 6:12 p.m.

A report of a woman passed out in a vehicle in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue was checked. She was fine, but was resting. 8:37 p.m.

A report of persons in the 400 block of East Charles Street throwing things at vehicles was investigated. No one was located in the area when officers arrived. 11:17 p.m.

SUNDAY

ARRESTS

A traffic stop in the area of Monnett Street and Bland Avenue resulted in two arrests. The driver, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released. A passenger , a 27-year-old woman, was arrested on five Crawford County warrants. She was given a date to appear in court and released. 2:46 a.m.

A 21-year-old man was located on Clinton Street and arrested on a warrant out of Richland County. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await relay to Richland County. 9:37 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A business near Washington Square reported a disorderly customer refusing to leave. The woman left voluntarily when officers arrived. 1:08 a.m.

A resident in the 1200 block of Teddy Avenue reported her house vandalized with toilet paper while she was gone during the evening. 1:37 a.m.

A disturbance in city lot 3 was dispersed by the arriving officers. 1:50 a.m.

Officers responded to the Horseshoe Bar with EMS personnel for a customer having a medical issue. 2:25 a.m.

Officers checked the area of East Kilbourne and South Sandusky avenues after receiving a report of a vehicle in the area with a door ajar. It did not appear that the vehicle had been ransacked and officers secured the door. 6:23 a.m.

Officers investigated a report of a domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Mary Ann Lane. 1:17 p.m.

A syringe was picked up by officers in the 500 block of South East Street. 2:12 p.m.

Two people were warned for trespassing on the railroad tracks near Earl Street. 3:57 p.m.

A report of a loose pot-bellied pig was investigated on Whetstone Street. The pig was a pet and was OK and inside the residence of the owner. 4:22 p.m.

A wallet was reported stolen in the 800 block of Wilbur Street. 4:41 p.m.

A found wallet was turned in to the Police Department. 5:58 p.m.

Officers assisted New Washington Police Department with the police K9. 6:29 p.m.

A warning was issued to a person skateboarding in the roadway on South Sandusky Avenue. 7:20 p.m.

An Emerson Street resident reported a burglary. 8:32 p.m.

A verbal disturbance between two persons was investigated in the 300 block of South Sandusky Avenue. 9:06 p.m.
