Canal Winchester calls emergency meeting for salaries

CANAL WINCHESTER – The Canal Winchester City Council will meet at 6 p.m. today to handle a third reading on pay ordinances for the mayor and council members.

The village called an emergency meeting because the ordinances must be passed by July 1. Ordinarily, public meetings can only be called with less than 24 hours’ notice to the public in case of emergency. The notice went out just before noon today.
