Lights and Sirens: Traffic stop yields drug arrest

TUESDAY

ARRESTS

An individual was arrested on charges of a drug offense after a traffic stop at High and Irving streets. 4:25 p.m.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and criminal summons and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober. 9:39 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A theft report was taken in the 100 block of West Perry Street. 8:14 a.m.

A report of a cat stuck in a vehicle was investigated. The cat was just trying to stay out of the rain. 1:08 p.m.

Officer responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of North Sandusky Avenue and a juvenile patron was warned against trespass. 1:42 p.m.

Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel on Marion Road. 3:28 p.m.

A report of two suspicious persons in the area of Spring and Rensselaer streets was investigated. Their car was disabled and they were retrieving property from it. 3:49 p.m.

A report of vandalism to a car was taken in the 900 block of Whetstone Street. 4:57 p.m.

A parking complaint was investigated at Outhwaite Reservoir. The vehicle belonged to people who were arrested for drug offenses and were in the county jail. They made arrangements with a family member to move the vehicle. 5:38 p.m.

A report of a traffic hazard was investigated in the area of Warren and Kearsley streets. 5:49 p.m.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the area of Kaler and West Oakwood Avenue. An individual was served a summons. 8:03 p.m.

A report of a loose dog in the 1300 block of Edgewood Drive was investigated. A neighbor assisted the officer coaxing the dog back to its residence. 8:18 p.m.

Officers assisted Life Support in the 1100 block of Tiffin Street with an intoxicated person who had fallen and was injured. 9:14 p.m.

Officers warned two men against trespassing in the Earl Street area. 9:25 p.m.

Officers warned a Fairview Avenue resident against setting off fireworks. 9:57 p.m.

A report of a driver following other vehicles too closely with the bright lights on was checked in the area of West Southern Avenue 11:58 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A report of a barking dog in the area of Wiley and East Mansfield Street was checked and the resident took the dog inside. 12:05 a.m.

A theft reported in the 500 block of Jones Street is under investigation. 12:22 a.m.

A report of a suspicious vehicle at the Clark Station on Marion Road was investigated. It was found to be an employee. 12:24 a.m.

Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at FC Bank. The person was found to be waiting to use the ATM. 12:53 a.m.
