Police log: Man shoots himself while cleaning gun

ROAD RAGE

• 11:48 p.m., a caller said a subject may have had a firearm while aggressively driving, 900 block Cleveland Street, Sandusky Township.

GUN SHOT

• 10:13 a.m., a man was taken to the emergency room after shooting himself while cleaning his gun, County Road 74, Madison Township.

VANDALISM

• 7:03 a.m., a caller said a semi was on fire. There were no injuries reported, Ohio 12 and Ohio 53, Ballville Township.

CHARGED

• A 19-year-old Fremont man was charged with one misdemeanor count of failure to appear.

• A 22-year-old Cleveland man was charged with one misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

BURGLARY

• 11:23 p.m., a caller said someone entered his apartment and stole weights, toys and two gaming systems, 210 block North Park Avenue.

BB GUNS

• 7:56 p.m., a caller said two subjects were shooting BB guns inside the city limits. Police told the two it was illegal to shoot BB guns in the city, 1020 block Roosevelt Street.

THEFT

• 3:20 p.m., a caller said his cell phone was stolen from his vehicle. He said he gave a ride to a woman and said the phone went missing after she left the vehicle, 910 block Quail Drive.

THEFT

• 4:49 a.m., a caller reported his credit cards were missing from his vehicle. The man said the doors were left open by the suspect, 520 block South Wayne Street.
