Davis' two-run single sends Raiders over Tornadoes

FALLS TOWNSHIP – Laura Davis' two-run single in the fourth inning provided the difference for Morgan in a 3-1 win over host West Muskingum in the Muskingum Valley League on Tuesday.

The Raiders scored a run in the second, but Chelcey Tusing belted a solo home run in the third to tie the game at 1 for the Tornadoes (1-19, 0-14).

Donie Rae Wallace allowed four hits, walked three and struck out two in a complete game victory and Mikayla Mayle had two of the Raiders' six hits.

Lyndzie Lauvray fanned two and walked two as she went the distance in the loss.
