Restaurant inspections net violations

FREMONT – The Sandusky Health Department handed out 59 violations to county restaurants during recent inspections.

Violations in the county ranged from such easy corrections as removing a fan blocking the sink to can openers that were not cleaned daily, to help avoid the spread of contaminants.

The inspection period was July 1 through August 18.
