More snow likely on the way

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 7 p.m. Saturday through 3 p.m. Sunday that includes Fairfield County.

According to the advisory, 1 to 3 inches of snow are expected, along with trace amounts of ice

Snow will become steadier late Saturday into Sunday morning and will mix with freezing rain as temperatures rise.
