Annual Labor Day parade scheduled for Monday

NEWARK — The annual Labor Day parade is scheduled to begin at noon Monday in downtown Newark.

Participants will be lined up on King Avenue near Newark High School.

The parade will proceed down Granville Street to Sixth Street. From there, the parade will head to Church Street and to the Courthouse Square.

Following the parade, refreshments and activities will be available for anyone at the GMP Local 244 Union Hall, located at 350 Hudson Ave.
