PORT CLINTON – A Sandusky woman was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated menacing, disorderly conduct, obstructing official business and criminal damaging.

The charges came after police responded to a reported fight Wednesday afternoon on the 100 block of Washington Street.

The people involved were gone upon the officers' arrival, but witnesses told police Brittney Roberts, 27, and a man were looking for someone they claimed stole $300 from a vehicle. When the person they were looking for wasn't there, Roberts became aggressive, threatening to "slit everyone's throat" and have "her squad" burn the house down, according to the police report.

At some point Roberts started throwing rocks, one of which broke out a window at the home, the report said. Eventually she left with the man in his vehicle.

Police said while witnesses were filling out their statements, Roberts and the man returned to the residence. While the man was being detained, Roberts continually yelled something about "pitbull squad" at the house, police said.

Roberts ignored an officer's request to stop instigating trouble with the people in the home and would not comply as police attempted to detain her, the report said.

The man with Roberts was released and not charged. Roberts was incarcerated at the Ottawa County Detention Facility.

Police were told Roberts had taken two knives into the jail that were hidden under her breasts. According to the report, the jail is handling that incident.
