DeCamp joins ADAMH as associate director

MARION - The Crawford, Marion Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services announced that Brad DeCamp will be joining their staff on Jan. 4 in the position of Associate Director.

DeCamp has 19 years of state and county behavioral health administration experience. Since 2013, he has served as the Chief of Behavioral Health Policy and Program Implementation with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. He has served as the State Opioid Treatment Authority since 2011 where he collaborated with federal and state agencies around treatment for opiate dependent individuals.

DeCamp has served as a statewide resource on Medication Assisted Treatment to ADAMH Boards and treatment providers.

From 2009 to 2013, DeCamp served as the assistant division chief with the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. During that time, he became a trained facilitator in Recovery Oriented Systems of Care and has trained extensively across Ohio.

DeCamp will be responsible for working with ADAMH Board provider agencies. His extensive experience with medication assisted treatment and drug courts will be of significant importance in his new role with the Crawford-Marion ADAMH Board.

DeCamp and his wife Nikki are the parents of seven children and live near Richwood.
