Police log: Eggs, zucchini damage truck

VANDALISM

• 11:11 a.m., a caller said someone damaged his truck by throwing eggs and zucchini at it. The caller said a door was dented, a mirror was broken and the front grill was damaged, 590 block C.R. 232, Green Creek Township.

FIREARMS

• 9:14 p.m., a caller said a bullet ricocheted from a neighbor’s target and hit her barn, 2880 block C.R. 82, Washington Township.

VANDALISM

• 5:09 p.m., a caller said eggs were thrown at his truck, causing a dent, 4930 block C.R. 183.

BREAKING AND ENTERING

• 6:20 p.m., a caller said someone broke a window at his home. Nothing reported missing, 2780 block Hayes Avenue, Fremont.

THEFT

• 1:09 p.m., a caller said someone stole a trailer attached to his home, 840 block C.R. 224, Washington Township.

VANDALISM

• 12:29 p.m., a caller said he thinks his neighbor sprayed a substance onto his firewood. He also said his neighbor is mowing into lawn, 6880 block C.R. 107, Woodville Township.

CHARGED

• Ryan Groot, 31, Fremont, was charged with one felony count of breaking and entering.

• A 54-year-old Fremont woman was charged with three misdemeanor counts of failure to appear.

• A 42-year-old Akron man was charged with one misdemeanor count of failure to appear.

• A 32-year-old Tiffin woman was charged with one misdemeanor count each of probation violation and failure to appear.

• A 25-year-old Toledo woman was charged with one misdemeanor count of probation violation.

THEFT

• 1:01 a.m., a caller said her daughter stole money and left the home. Police found the girl and she was arrested and charged with theft, 970 block Monroe Street.

• 12:49 p.m., a caller said her front door was kicked in. No items reported missing, 230 block Hamilton Street.
