• 6:53 a.m., a caller said a brick was thrown through her front window, 2020 block East State Street, Portage Township.

THEFT

• 1:46 p.m., a caller said someone used his Social Security number to file his federal taxes, 315 Madison St. Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

BURGLARY

• 9:23 a.m., a caller said two blank checks were missing from his business, 900 SE Catawba Road, Portage Township.

CRASH

• 9:43 p.m., Matthew Winke, 17, Port Clinton, was cited for failure to allow assured cleared distance after he crashed into Connie Grodi, 68, Port Clinton while westbound on T.R. 31. Winke was traveling behind Grodi and failed to slow down, T.R. 31, Portage Township.

CRASH

• 9:42 p.m., Holli Lochotzki, 24, Oak Harbor, was cited for failure to control when she lost control of her car and crash into a guardrail, C.R. Eight Portage Township.

• 8:03 p.m., Allison Gehers,, 24, Sandusky, was cited for failure to control when she lost control of her car running off the side of the road and crashing into a guardrail, Ohio 2 and C.R. 8, Portage Township.

CRASH

• 7:40 p.m., a Loura Garza, 22, Gibsonburg was cited for failure to control for crashing into Stan’s Body Shop on Ohio 15. Garza’s car came to a rest in the grass next to the shop and received disabling damage. Two of the buildings and a garage received damage, 17613 W. Ohio 105, Harris Township.

CHILD ENDANGERMENT

• 4:33 p.m., an officer said a man westbound on Ohio 579 did not secure a child in the backseat. The man told deputies he did not know the child needed a booster seat, Ohio 579, Benton Township.

THEFT

• 3:59 p.m., a caller said a student stole his cellphone at school, 21300 block West Moline Martin Road, Genoa.
