Lights and Sirens: Traffic stop results in drug charge

MONDAY

ARRESTS

Officers conducted a traffic stop near East Charles and South Walnut streets. Passenger, Braxton Smith, 18, was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was issued a citation and released. 3:41 p.m.

INCIDENTS

A domestic problem in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street was investigated. It was a verbal dispute, no assaults or threats reported. 7:47 a.m.

A motorist was cited for driving under suspension in the 500 block of South Highland Avenue. 9:58 a.m.

Officers took a theft report in the 1300 block of Edgewood Drive. 11:24 a.m.

A disturbance at the Bucyrus Auto Laundry was mediated and subjects cleaned up their trash to resolve the matter. 11:51 a.m.

A traffic complaint in the 900 block of Whetstone Street was investigated and a notice for junk vehicle was served. 1:15 p.m.

A parking complaint in the 100 block of East Charles Street was checked and no parking violation was seen. 2:59 p.m.

A minor private property collision in the Kroger parking lot was investigated. 5:45 p.m.

A complaint of loud music in the 900 block of Elm Street was received. There was no violation heard. 9:19 p.m.

A report of possible child abuse in the area of Hopley Avenue and East Street was investigated. The child was found to be fine. 10:06 p.m.

Officer assisted a pedestrian in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue and a summons was served. 10:42 p.m.

TUESDAY

INCIDENTS

A Wheeler Avenue resident reported vandalism to his vehicle. 12:56 a.m.

A 12-year-old girl was reported missing by her parents. She was later located and will be summoned to juvenile court for curfew violation. 12:57 a.m.

An adult was reported missing from the 400 block of East Lucas Street. The person later returned home. 2:19 a.m.

A Wiley Street resident reported vandalism to his vehicle. 2:41 a.m.
