Lancaster Festival’s Spring fundraiser set for Saturday

Staff report

LANCASTER – This year’s annual Lancaster Festival Spring Fundraiser will be held this Saturday at the Eagles Lodge.

For many it will be the first chance to visit with the festival’s new director, Joseph Piccolo, and find out what he has in mind for the future of the annual festival.

“One of the things we are going to do is start announcing the festival schedule during the spring fundraiser,” Piccolo said. “So for people who want to know what we are going to be doing, it will be a way to get an advance knowledge of who is going to be here.”

Doors open at 7 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, 1936 E. Main St., Lancaster. There will be appetizers and a cash bar along with raffles.

The featured band performing during the fundraiser will be Bad Influence. The cover band plays songs ranging from Elvis Presley to Whitesnake to Coldplay and many others.

Some of the food being offered during the fundraiser will include chicken quesadillas, cheese and crackers, beef kabobs, wrapped mini dogs, vegetables and dip, spinach dip, hot and mild chicken wings.

The cost will be $20 at the door.
