Circleville man dies in motorcycle crash

CIRCLEVILLE – A Circleville man was killed Sunday afternoon after being ejected from his motorcycle in a two-vehicle crash.

According to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, William J. McIntyre, 56, was driving his 1992 Harley Davidson eastbound on Ohio 56 and was near South Perry Road about 2:48 p.m. when he was struck by a 2012 Nissan Versa driven by a 16-year-old whose name was not released by authorities.

McIntyre was transported by Laurelville EMS to Berger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 16-year-old was transported by Air Evac to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

The accident remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
