A poor shooting performance led to the demise of the visiting Hornets, who were just 15-of-48 from the field in a Division I district loss at Winland Memorial Gymnasium.

Heights (12-11) trailed just 12-10 after one quarter, but the Blue Devils slowly added to their lead, taking a 27-18 edge at halftime and 35-26 entering the fourth.

Marcos Yilma had 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting and Chase Holskey added 10 points for the Hornets, who had 17 turnovers.
