Blue Racers fall in St. Louis

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The St. Louis Attack beat the Marion Blue Racers 48-23 Friday night in X-League indoor football play at the Family Arena.

The win avenges a 33-29 loss St. Louis suffered in Marion last week and puts the Attack record at 3-2. Marion fell to 2-2.

Marion led 9-4 at the end of the first quarter but saw that lead evaporate in the second period as St. Louis moved to a 19-9 halftime cushion.

St. Louis led 26-9 after three quarters.

Marion returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Florida in the Marion Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
