Rolling Stones top list of Ohio summer concerts

Starting up once again, The Rolling Stones have announced a summer tour that includes the iconic rock band's only Ohio show May 30 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.

Two years removed from its "50 and Counting Tour," the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group — featuring original members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts — will be playing its hits with a few obscure tracks for diehard fans.

"We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer," said Mick Jagger said in a statement. "We are looking forward to being back onstage and playing your favorite songs."

Added Richards, "We love being out on the road and it is great to come back to North America."

Considering their ages — Jagger and Richards are 71, while Watts is 73 — odds are this will either be the last major tour for the group or at the very least its last appearance in the Buckeye State.

Tickets for the Columbus show are $39.50 to $395, and go on sale at 10 a.m. April 13 at Ticketmaster.com

Here's a look at other major shows coming to Central Ohio this summer:
