HOCKING TOWNSHIP – A 21-year-old Amanda man was flown to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash Monday on U.S. 22 at Delmont Road, according to Ohio Highway Patrol crash reports.

A 2004 Ford Taurus driven by Sylvia Debord, 20, of Grove City, was traveling east on U.S. 22 around 5:30 p.m. when she turned left onto Delmont Road and hit a black 2013 Chevrolet truck driven by Shasta Goode. Goode, of Sugar Grove, was heading west on U.S. 22 at about 55 miles per hour at the time of impact.

Debord‘s passenger, Anthony Moody, was trapped in the car when first responders arrived. Moody sustained the most severe injuries and was taken by helicopter to the Columbus hospital.

Moody’s condition was not listed in the hospital’s public directory Wednesday. The crash report described his injuries as “incapacitating.” Debord was taken to Fairfield Medical Center for treatment for non-incapacitating injury, according to the report. She was also issued a citation.

Goode, 28, had two passengers in her car, Bradley Clifton, 11, and Jada Goode, 9. Both children and Goode reported possible injuries at the scene and were taken by medics to Fairfield Medical Center.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt at the time of impact.
