Lights and Sirens: Hymiler shoplifting reported

THURSDAY

ARRESTS

•Officers arrested a 36-year-old man located on Woodlawn Avenue on a Huron County warrant. Officers turned him over to the Huron County Sheriff’s Department to be held for court. 7:27 p.m.

•Officers responded to Virginia Avenue and arrested a 28-year-old man at his residence on charges of domestic violence. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. 7:53 p.m.

INCIDENTS

•A disturbance in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated. 11:56 a.m.

•A report of a group of pedestrians standing in the road at the railroad tracks impeding traffic on North Spring Street was unfounded. 3:10 p.m.

•Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury crash on Crossroads Blvd., and a woman was cited for failing to maintain assured clear distance ahead. 3:15 p.m.

•A vehicle was cited and towed from the 800 block of Rogers Street for overtime 48-hour parking complaint. 4:44 p.m.

•A report of a group of juveniles smoking in the alley by Crawford County Job and Family Services was investigated. The kids had already left the area before officers arrived. 5:21 p.m.

•A traffic citation was issued to a motorist in the 300 block of East Charles Street. 8:32 p.m.

•A two-vehicle crash in the 1600 block of Marion Road was investigated. EMS was dispatched. No one involved was transported. Both vehicles involved were disabled and towed from the scene and a woman was cited for failure to yield. 8:34

•Officers mediated a dispute between neighbors in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street. 10:59 p.m.

INCIDENTS

•A report of a shoplifting at Hymiler is under investigation. 12:51 a.m.

•Officers checked the 700 block of West Perry Street for a possible water main break. 5:43 a.m.
