BC Juggling

Bloom-Carroll Juggling/Unicycling Club will meet every other Monday in room 207 of Bloom-Carroll High School. Students do not need to know how to juggle in order to join. This year, class members hope to purchase some new equipment to add to the clubs, rings, balls and unicycles they already have. If anyone has any items they would like to donate to the club, contact Keith Wentz (club adviser) at: kewentz@bloomcarroll.org . The first club event for 2015 will be a trip to the Renaissance Festival on Sept. 13.

BC Transportation

The Board of Education of Bloom-Carroll Local Schools has declared that transportation by school conveyance is impractical for some children attending other schools. However, the board will agree to pay the parent or guardian of students in lieu of providing such service. The amount will be determined by the Ohio Department of Education. In order to receive this reimbursement, parents must complete an application at www.bloomcarroll.org. Bloom-Carroll must also have a letter verifying enrollment for the student from the school that they will attend. This letter should be prepared on school letterhead. Both documents must be received by Bloom-Carroll by Dec. 31, in order to receive reimbursement. Checks will be mailed at the end of the school year. For more information, contact the transportation department at 614-834-6706.

No School

There are two dates in September that Bloom-Carroll Schools will not be in session. The first one is Monday, due to Labor Day. The second one is Sept. 28, due to a professional development day.
