A no-knock search warrant was served at 984 E. Main St. at around 7:30 a.m., said Capt. Tim Gay, of the Chillicothe Police Department.

Curtis E. Smith, a resident of the home, was charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument, Gay said.

Kim Carroll, who police said also was in the residence at the time of the search, was charged with possession of heroin. Jamie D. Rhone was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Brieana Nein was charged with possession of drugs after police reported they found Suboxone strips.

Gay said further charges are pending after residue was reported found on items within the residence. The residue was sent to be tested. A fifth subject inside the residence was released from the scene.

The police department was assisted by the U.S. 23 Pipeline Task Force.
